ARCTIC
CIRCLE
The Arctic Circle Assembly is the largest annual international forum on the Arctic and its future, and the assemblies are always held in Iceland. They have also become the world's largest gathering on Arctic issues.
In 2024, the number of participants was approximately 2,500. The conference featured around 200 workshops with over 700 speakers and presenters.















MEDICAL
DAYS
Medical Days is an educational and continuing education forum organized by the Medical Education Institute. Medical Days are exclusively open to doctors and other healthcare professionals and are held annually.
Each conference features a multitude of seminars and workshops, as well as product and service exhibitions. The number of participants each year is around 800–1,000 people.
SUMS
SUMS is a multidisciplinary organization of professionals involved in the assessment and treatment of wounds in Iceland. The association is dedicated to promoting increased scientific work and research in the field of wound care in Iceland.
The annual SUMS conference is held in the autumn, accompanied by an exhibition for participants. The number of attendees each year is approximately 170–250 people. The number of participants each year is around 170-250 people.














ICELAND
FISH EXPO
The exhibition was held in the entire Laugardalshall and is one of the larger and more extensive exhibitions that have been held in Iceland. There is a lot of diversity in the exhibition. There are large companies that serve the fishing industry with very versatile solutions and also individuals in small companies with progressive solutions and devices.
Iceland Fish Expo is held every three years, featuring participation from domestic and international companies with number of visitors 20,000 attending.
EUROPEAN GEOPARKS
The 17th International Conference of European Geoparks took place on October 2–4, 2024, at Hljómahöll in Reykjanesbær. Around 400 guests from 30 countries and over 90 geoparks attended the conference, which featured approximately 240 presentations and workshops.
The conference lasted for 2 days and concluded with tours of the Reykjanes Peninsula.
















INDUSTRIAL
EXPO
The main areas of the exhibition have been: structures, energy, infrastructure, design and ecological solutions.
Industrial Expo covers the wide range of industries whether in the field of structures, energy, manufacturing, intellectual property or green solutions to name a few. Such an exhibition has a message for nationals whether they work or are connected to the industrial field.
The Industry Exhibition is held every other year, and in 2023 it attracted around 25,000 visitors.
